Menu Design for Zimmi’s

Project for Zimmi's in collaboration with SMLXL

Menu design for Zimmi’s, a restaurant in New York’s West Village created by chef Maxime Pradié, whose cuisine reflects his childhood summers in the South of France and brings a distinctly Mediterranean sensibility to the neighborhood.

The project explored the vernacular aesthetics of neighborhood bistros, taking cues from the tactile character of handwritten menus. These references were distilled into a purely typographic system that balances simplicity with warmth, creating a visual identity that feels both familiar and distinct within the context of New York dining.
