Menu Design for Zimmi’s

Menu design for Zimmi’s, a restaurant in New York’s West Village created by chef Maxime Pradie, whose cuisine reflects his childhood summers in the South of France and brings a distinctly Mediterranean sensibility to the neighborhood.

The project explored the vernacular aesthetics of neighborhood bistros, taking cues from the tactile character of handwritten menus and signs. These references were distilled into a purely typographic system that balances simplicity with warmth, creating a visual identity that feels both familiar and distinct within the context of New York dining.
