Book launch at Jacqueline
Sullivan Gallery

Project for Art Paper Editions

Art direction, curation, and production for the U.S. launch of Play, a collaborative project by Isabelle Wenzel, Glorietta Reantaso, and Anita Szymczak, hosted at Jacqueline Sullivan Gallery, New York. Published by Art Paper Editions, the book offers a joyful representation of women in a free, non-hierarchical way.

The evening offered guests an immersive experience of the book’s playful narrative, fostering connections through exploration and celebration. A portion of sales supported Wide Rainbow, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing contemporary art and arts education to under-resourced communities.

As authorship is put aside in favor of cooperation, the perspectives of the three partakers, a photographer, a performer and a stylist, blend together, generating new, unexpected turns. Their teamwork is an uninhibited celebration of joining forces through the body in movement.

Behind-the-scenes documentation of the setup at Jacqueline Sullivan Gallery, captured by Sophie Aerts.

Outtakes captured on site during the event.
